spotlight database: World Vital Records





The Friendswood Public Library now provides World Vital Records, a massive library with billions of Family History and Genealogy records, and millions of family trees. Key collections include: COMPLETE U.S. Federal Census images and indexes from 1790 to 1940; military records; enhanced Social Security Death Index (SSDI) records; millions of newspaper articles; unique, exclusive local and international collections.

To access World Vital Records, select the Electronic Library from the library’s website. Scroll down to World Vital Records and enter your 14 digit Friendswood library barcode number.  For assistance, contact the library at 281-482-7135.
