Friendswood Library flicks




Friendswood Library flicks is an ongoing movie series held every other Thursday evening in the Friendswood Public Library Activity Room.  Films are shown on an 8 X 10 ft. screen.  Movies are free and begin at 6:20pm.  Refreshments provided.

Our Summer Movie Schedule includes:


June 12 at 6:20pm -  The Thin Man starring Myrna Loy and William Powell. Directed by W.S. Van Dyke in 1934. This film is not rated and runs 93 minutes. Named to the National Film Registry in 1997. 

July 3 at 6:20pm - Night at the Museum starring Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Robin Williams, Mickey Rooney, Dick Van Dyke, and Bill Cobbs. Directed by Shawn Levy in 2006. This film is rated PG and runs 108 minutes 

July 17 at 6:20pm -  Carousel starring Shirley Jones and Gordon MacRae. Directed by Henry King in 1956. This film is not rated and runs 128 minutes.


 July 31 at 6:20pm  -  Rebecca starring Joan Fontaine and Laurence Olivier. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1940. This film is not rated and runs 130 minutes.
