Opening Reception - Landscape Photographer Tim Herschbach

Monday, November 10 from 6 - 8pm at the Friendswood Public Library

Tim Herschbach is a landscape photographer living in Pearland, Texas. In the summer of 2013, Tim left his full time position as an IT specialist at a Houston television station and put his full devotion into his art career.  Tim won the 2013 Award of Excellence at Arts Fest Oklahoma and his photograph The Gathering won 2nd Place at Galveston Art League's February 2014 Juried Show. He is a member of the Galveston Art League and Visual Arts Alliance. 

from his Artist Statement: My photographic artwork represents my personal perception of the landscape. I treat light as the subject and I use nature to demonstrate that light. This approach requires constant observation while in the field and an understanding of the nature of light itself… I infuse my personal style into my work at each stage of the process.  


The Tim Herschbach exhibit will remain in the library's Activity Room through December.
